Merit Scholarship Information
All merit-based scholarship awards are made to admitted students based on the
official class rank/percent recorded in the student information system by the
Office of Admissions. Complete admissions requirements early- merit-based
scholarship awards will be limited after April 15, 2010! Merit-based
scholarships are awarded to students who show exceptional academic ability
through superior test scores and class ranking. Merit scholarships are awarded
at the following levels and based on the following criteria:

* SAT scores are math and critical reading portions only, ACT scores are
composite scores.
** Scholarships awarded for 5 years are for four years of undergraduate and one
year of graduate studies at Texas Tech University. Awards and criteria are
subject to change.
